My name is Mrs. D. and I am an author of children's books. Currently, I’m juggling many projects including several new books. I love to write. I love this beautiful language. I write because I have something to share. I write because maybe someday, someone in this world may need my experience. I write for one simple reason. I love how it makes me feel: free.
Learning about Russia is a topic near and dear to my families heart. My husband is a Russian American and we believe strongly in raising globally aware children who are knowledgeable about the world. There are many ideas about how to start introducing different places and cultures to your children. I tend to start with what I know, then branch out to the cultures and heritages of our family, friends, classmates, and neighbors.
Although there are many ways to teach about a culture, reading books is a great way to introduce your children to our global word. Books are relatively inexpensive, many times being able to rent for free from the library! Here is the collection of Russian Books that I would want to have in my dream library!
I’ve linked each of these up to our Amazon Affiliate account just in case you decide you want to purchase one. We could receive a small portion of the sale in return to help support The Educators Spin On It. All Opinions are written on my own.
